Organizational structure

The Foreign Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) is the Outreach Body of the Party. The office is responsible for all KDP’s international and regional relations with political parties, MPs, decision-makers, think-tanks, and any other non-governmental organizations and institutions. The office consists of six desks and two departments: European Desk, Middle East and Africa Desk, Eurasia Desk, American Desk, International Organizations and Institutions Desk, Media and Protocol Desk, Administration Department, Office Records and Correspondence Department, and led by the Head.

Shingal is a deep wound to the people of Kurdistan. What ISIS terrorists did seven years ago against our Yazidi brothers and sister is a pain that will never be forgotten.


The crimes committed by ISIS in the Shingal area were the extension of the series of genocides, massacres and crimes committed against the Kurdistani people throughout history.

At the meeting both side emphasized on the desire to resolve outstanding issues between Iraqi parties in general and Kurdistan Region particularly via dialogue.
